The Discovery Centre comes from a proud lineage of academia. It is a part of the Beaconhouse family, which is today, by far, Pakistan's largest provider of private education, whether in terms of size, diversity, or outreach. The concept of 'SmartSchool' has now existed in different parts of the world for many years. Few educators will agree on a common definition of the term SmartSchool ; hence, what you will find within these pages is the Beaconshouse interpretation of this somewhat open-ended concept. This interpretation is the cumulative result of 27 years of experience in education with years of experience in curriculum design, not to mention two years of pre SmartSchool experience at The Discovery Centre.
