Registration & Admission
   
 

The admission procedure begins with Registration, which means entering a child’s name on the school register for purposes of admission. Registration in itself does not guarantee admission. Dates for registration are announced individually by each school. Registration Fee is charged to cover clerical and administrative costs. On payment of this fee the Centre Office will issue a receipt and a Registration Form for completion by the parent or guardian along with Discovery Centre Prospectus.

Registration will only be made if it is thought probable that a vacancy will exist in the appropriate class at the expected time of admission. The center reserves the right to accept or refuse registration without assigning any reason.

School Fee
   
 

School fee and other charges shall be paid every two months in advance, through a local bank. This fee is payable for all twelve calendar months. The school has the discretion to review and increase the School Fee and all other fees, charges and deposits ancillary thereto, without the parents consent. The school regrets that no concession can be offered to students on account of the fact that their siblings are already enrolled in any branch of the Beaconhouse School System or Discovery Centre.

 
   
Withdrawal
   
 

If parents wish to withdraw their child from the school, one month’s notice must be given to the school. Alternatively, one month’s fee must be paid to the school in lieu of such notice.
Notwithstanding the above, a student shall be considered to be withdrawn from the school if:

  1. He/she had not attended the school for the period of one month, unless arrangements for such absence have been agreed to by the Head of concerned branch of the school.
  2. His/her fees have remained unpaid for two consecutive months.
  3. He/she has been asked to withdraw from school due to disciplinary reasons. The school in the event of such withdrawal shall not be required to give any notice before enforcing its decision, which shall be within the absolute and sole discretion of the school.
  4. He/she has failed in the same class for two consecutive years or has failed to quality for promotion on two different occasions in his/her school career.
In cases above, outstanding fess shall be adjusted against the security deposit paid to the school.
   

Inter-city Transfer
   
  Discovery Centre offers as one of its advantages the facility to transfer from a Discovery Centre in one city to a Beaconhouse or Discovery Centre branch in other city.
   
Intra-school Transfer
   
  Beaconhouse School System including Discovery Centre does not offer transfer facility from one school campus to another within the same city.
